We adopted a 1.5 year old Lab who was lovable, but had way to much uncontrolled energy, and no responses to verbal commands. Riptide K9 Dog Training (Jeff Riccio) met Gunner and was able to get some control started within 15 minutes. Gunner at first was way to distracted with what was in the woods, but Jeff used his arsenal of positive reinforcement techniques to capture and keep Gunners attention.
From there each lesson progressed with measurable and quick results. Jeff gave us training to use in the training of Gunner. We had to do our homework, but with guidance from Riptide K9 Dog Training, homework was never so fun.
We have recommended Jeff Riccio and his training techniques to several people already and will continue to do so. If he could get discipline from Gunner, I know he can do it on any dog. Having Gunner around the house now is fun and loving, as we don’t have to worry about Gunner running off or how he will respond to situations and people on and off property.
