Riptide K-9’s pet dog obedience training program establishes proper obedience; teaching your dog how sit or down on command, to stop jumping on people, walk nicely on a leash without pulling, to come when he/she is called and respond to commands reliably. We offer both exclusive in-board training as well as private, on site lessons, Dogs enrolled for the in-board program stay at the trainer’s home until completion of the course, ranging anywhere from 2-4 weeks. Our private lessons are a very hands on training program for the dedicated dog owner. We will determine if private lessons are a good fit for you during our evaluation process. Our private one on one visits include weekly trips to our facility, or in some cases, your home. Our trainers will go over proper instruction of all commands included in the program, it will be up to the dog owner to practice and maintain the training throughout the week in between visits. The trainer will evaluate the dog’s progress at each visit and assist in correcting any problems the owner may be experiencing.Additional lessons may be purchased if needed once the package duration ends.
Basic Obedience Private session Program: On-leash Obedience. Dog will reliably perform the following commands while on- leash, this is perfect for those who want functional, reliable obedience and control over their dog.

- No Jumping (“Off”)
Advanced Obedience Private lesson Program: Off–leash obedience. Dog will reliably perform the following commands while both on and off-leash. This is the most popular program and will strive to give the owner complete control in any circumstance. The major component of this program is the ability to recall your dog. This program also includes a “place” command which will allow the owner to place the dog on a dog bed or mat and have the dog not move off that place until released.
